In the event of an employee accident or injury, the immediate protocol involves notifying the HSE Manager or Case Management Specialist, who assesses the situation, arranges urgent care or hospital contact, ensures drug/alcohol testing within 24 hours, collects incident reports and witness statements, and decides if Workers' Compensation insurer involvement is necessary. If required, the HSE Manager coordinates with the employer, gathers employee data, and manages reporting and follow-up with the Workers' Compensation insurer.
